I’m DaVelle, a North Carolina native, beleiver, wife and mom of 3. My favorite colors are Blue & Gold (Aggie Pride). I am a cozy creative; fill my glass with wine, the cutest mug with loose leaf tea or 6-bean coffee, add a journal with an oh-so cute pen paired with live music on a rooftop patio or a cozy blanket tucked in a corner and let the ideas flow. This is exactly where you’ll find me if I’m not with family or somewhere with my camera in hand as a result of a hobby that began as a pre-teen that progressed into a true passion. You know, that thing you can’t stop thinking about? The one you always return to? That you can talk about for hours? Yep, that one (outside of my hubby and kids), that’s what photography and graphic design are for me and the love continues to blossom.
As a freelance creative, I choose entrepreneurs, couples, individuals, families, elopements, graduates, small businesses and organizations as I am inspired by their journey. They are fueled by passion and allow an abundant opportunity to smile, laugh and shed a few happy tears.
As a designer, I prioritize giving small business and individual clients a one-on-one, personalized experience. Each project is a joint collaboration to ensure that the client’s vision, target audience and goals are understood. This process ensures that the visual branding and print collateral make a lasting impression before they even say a word.
I’m a Cannon shooter - behind the lens, I aim to capture images that illustrate an authentic story that can be shared for years to come. The goal is to ensure that the client remembers their day exactly as I felt it. It is an honor to be invited into such sacred spaces and brings me great joy to capture real moments, those that you cannot recreate as they happen in seconds but leave lasting memories to reflect upon, produce a smile, draw a tear or burst out in laughter.
